STILL is a temporary installation that emerged from a weeklong workshop guided by Nipa Doshi, a prominent figure from the internationally acclaimed design studio Doshi Levien.
The workshop aimed to foster a deeper understanding of materials and colors as essential elements of the creative process.
Given the theme ‘still' we conceptualized and constructed a two-meter-wide basin filled to the brim with water. At regular intervals, a droplet falls into the basin, emphasizing the time element of 'still,' signifying 'It’s still dripping.’ The tranquil movement of the water and the interplay of sunlight on its surface capture the serenity and beauty of stillness.
